Samaritans is a free listening service (116 123) available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for people in times of need, 'whatever you're going through'. I am infinitely grateful to this charity and the phenomenal, compassionate, selfless phone line volunteers. They have helped me so very much throughout this traumatic time, since my sister, Chloe died, as well as on many occasions in the past. In sharing my desire to embark on this challenge with others, I have been inspired, humbled and motivated by their sharing with me that they too have used this service during times of difficulty and grief. Samaritans have saved so many lives and it feels important to me to ensure I give back, so that others can continue to receive help in times of need too.
