Crossing Over Water is a challenge event for all abilities. The aim of this challenge is to find a method of crossing water (swimming, crossing bridges, etc.) to stand in solidarity with the difficult journeys made by refugees and asylum seekers.

Story

Our group are showing solidarity with all refugees and asylum seekers making perilous journeys across water, by raising money for Freedom from Torture, who support survivors of torture and oppression,  and campaign for change.

Specifically, we will attempt to walk a stretch of the Birmingham canal network (approximately 5.5 miles) crossing as many canal bridges along the route as possible. We believe this will be approximately 35-40.
