Sadly due to Covid19 logistics my initial Phase Worldwide Coast to Coast cycle ride that was due to take place in June 2021 has been cancelled. Rather than let all those training miles go to waste, to ensure I honour all those kind enough to have sponsored me and hopefully continue to receive new sponsors I have decided to change my C2C cycle ride to an alternative cycle challenge - to ride 500km in a month (26th May-25th June, 2021). 

I'm truly inspired by the work of PHASE Worldwide (please do check the links and see all the great work they continue to do). I have set up this fundraising page to support their UK Aid Match Start Strong Appeal by taking on the Move for Mothers Challenge! The great news is that until the 26th June 2021, all donations made to this page will be matched by the UK Government to support 1000 women and their children in Nepal.

The Start Strong project will run from 2021 – 2024 and aims to improve maternal healthcare and will focus on a healthy start for the first 1,000 days of life for children. The project will also work with mothers to improve their farming practices to increase availability of high value foods, improve diet diversification, and reduce malnutrition.
