Story

On Sunday 13th November I (Jen) will be taking part in the Run Alton Towers event to raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice.

I've only been running a few months and only days ago completed my first 5k event (other than parkrun). Those of you who know me know I have medical issues with my knees and will never be running any marathons but to me 5k is my marathon (certainly bloomin feels like it) so please don't think "oh it's only 5k" as to me it is an extremely tough challenge!

Me and Freddy recently raised £254 for Acorns through their August 2km a day treasure hunt challenge and felt extremely proud so to be able to do this and raise even more would be incredible.

I have to raise at least £125 in order to keep my running place so please please donate even if it's £1 it all quickly adds up and it really is for a truly wonderful cause.

Plus Freddy would love to see Mummy cross the finish line and win a medal!

Thank you ☺
