Freddie's Santa Run

I’m raising money for Dove House Hospice this Christmas.
Dove house cared for my Grandad during what was some of the hardest weeks of mine and my families lives and I can’t thank them enough for the comfort they brought him at the end of his remarkable life.
This year has been particularly hard for everyone and the need for hospices has never been greater, yet despite their importance, only 11% of their revenue comes from the NHS. Social distancing has meant many of their fundraising events haven’t been able to go ahead this year, massively impacting their income and putting their service at risk, so any money you can afford to donate has never been more needed or gratefully received.
I’m fundraising so they can help another family like mine, by running the 179km between my house in Manchester to the Hospice on Chamberlain Road, Hull. Il be running the streets of Didsbury in my Santa suit, completing the 179km by 31st December.
I’ll be posting boring route and time updates on my Instagram, #DHHSantaRun2020
