Story

On the 2nd November my eldest sister gave birth to a baby boy with deep blue eyes and dimples. Teddy Chapman was a surprise to us all as he arrived 7 weeks prior to his delivery date. The care that both Teddy and Imogen received in the Obstetric department ensured a safe delivery and happy stay in hospital.

The medical team suggested that Imogen and Teddy might have a long stay in hospital ahead of them which was not how my sister had envisaged starting parenthood. However with the amazing work of the obsetric team, the support of the community neo-natel team and a biliblanket borrowed from the Islington team (an item not usually available to a Haringey resident) they were discharged 10 days later.

I am now a very proud uncle and have had first hand experience of the importance of this team. As a result, I have set myself the gruelling challenge of running the London marathon for the next Teddy. Please, help me to support this essential work with a donation.
