Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We aim to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust because they supported us in our time of need.

Freddie became very ill, very quickly and before we know it he was in intensive care after he developed a rare reaction to mycoplasma pneumonia called Steven Johnsons Syndrome.

The Sick Children's Trust gave us a room in Crawford House, which is on the grounds of the RVI meaning we were just minutes away from his bedside when we were unable to stay over.

Freddie spent almost 3 weeks in hospital and went through so much pain and distress. You can read his journey by clicking the link:

I hope that no one ever had to go through what we have been through. Though we know some families will find themselves in a position where they have a really sick child and I hope that they get somewhere like Crawford house to make it a little bit easier.

We are going to be doing a range of events including raffles, parties, running the Great North Run to raise as much money as we can.

We would love to get enough money to sponsor room number 8 in Crawford house in Freddie's name.

3 months costs £2,500

6 months cost £5 000

12 months cost £10,000

So please if you can donate to this amazing charity as you never know who may need a home from home.

Thank you
