Story
I have been fundraising for Children's Hospice South West's Cornish Hospice, Little Harbour for the last 14 years dressed as Betty Stogs, Queen of the Cornish ales, a character from one of Skinner's Brewery iconic beers.
I have completed the London Marathon raising over £40,000 and last year completed a land, sea and air challenge to raise £30,000 to mark the charities 30th Anniversary.
I completed Ride for Precious Lives in 2021 as a part of the land challenge but found it so inspiring riding along bereaved fathers that had used all 3 of our children;s hospices and loved raising a smile in the evenings with my stand up comedy, I want to complete this challenge again.
Listening to the bereaved fathers on the weekend inspires me to keep on fundraising as it costs 3.5 million every year to run Little Harbour, our children's hospice in Cornwall, and it is now used by over 148 families at Little Harbour whose child has a life limiting condition.
So i am again attempting to cycle 215 miles from Bristol to Cornwall dresses as Betty with my basket!
If you would like to donate towards my target of £1000, this would be appreciated. Any donation as small as £2 can be given.
Thank you again for your support.
