Story
Hi Everyone, in about a week I will be cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats for an amazing charity called Refugee Community Kitchen which is based in Northern France. The refugees have little to no access to running water, sanitation, electricity, shelter or security and are routinely subject to violence from the police. Through most of Covid-19, and well before that, Refugee Community Kitchen has been cooking and distributing food to Calais and Dunkirk to the refugee camps. Any donation will go a long way to see that this vital service to the refugee communities keeps on going. My sister (Izzy) has been working with them for the past six months and has seen first hand the amazing work that they are doing.
I am planning to start on 11th of August to finish on the 18th, with an overall distance of around 1400km I’ll be averaging around 160-200km a day, this is however subject to a bit of change day by day and how many hills there are.
Theo Forrester is very kindly supporting me on my way, without him this would not be possible at all so massive thanks to him! Anyone that would like to join us (don’t worry it will be in a car and not cycling) is more than welcome to do so!
If it is at all possible it would be amazing for you to donate! Any donation of any size would be a massive help! Thank you!
