Story

Hi, for those of you that don't know me, my name is Frazer. I'm not quite sure how this all happened but I've decided to run a marathon! I struggle to run a bath never mind 26 miles.I've always been a keen sportsman. But I've never been into long distance running. An hours five a side or a T20 game of cricket is about my limit these days.

Running a marathon has always been on my bucket list but I've always found an excuse not to do one.... This year the excuse list was empty ... In fact, there were lots of things on the reasons to do list. The main one being that my little girl's school is raising money for a much needed new class room. So here I am asking you guys to donate towards helping funding it.

I'm "only" 32 but I have the body of atleast a 72 year old man (that's not a scientific diagnosis but I do have a few health issues that are going to make this tougher than it should be) It's going to be a big challenge for me to complete this. But complete it I will even if I have to walk or crawl over the line.

Catforth Primary is a very small school and each year the number of children applying to this school increases. The local and surrounding areas are witnessing a huge increase in new homes being built which means there are more and more families fighting for places at local schools. Catforth primary has this year increased their pupil numbers and added an extra class to accommodate more children, but this extra class of approx 30 children are having to be taught in the school hall. This has a huge impact on all school children as they are now having to eat their lunch time meals in their own classrooms and are having to have outdoor pe and assemblies outdoors throughout the winter, in extremely bad or cold weather thankfully they can use the village hall, but this incurs extra costs for the school.

Please help me to raise money for Catforth to build their new classroom, it will have huge benefits to all the children and staff at the school and will of course benefit my two little ones too.

Thank you on behalf of all the children at Catforth Primary School, in advance for your support ☺️
