Story
For those of you that know the "old me", running the London Marathon was probably the last thing you would have expected of me.
But having gone through 40 years of life not taking my health particularly seriously, I was advised at the beginning of the year to change my lifestyle or face the consequences.
Having now stopped smoking and changed my eating habits I have lost 3.5 stone (22Kg) and I’m fighting fit – well almost!
I now exercise regularly running or cycling most days, and if you live in or around Abbots Langley you’ll often see me out training with my black and white Border Collie, Kiki.
So for me now life is about giving and not continuously taking, and I would welcome all the support you can offer by helping me raising money for the “Vision Charity” for the benefit of Blind & Visually Impaired children.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now, it will mean a great deal to me and the Children of the Vision Charity!
