Story
In 2014, my Grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I was 7 at the time so it was difficult to understand what that meant, but as I got older I began to see how much it affects people. Not long after, my Nana also got diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Over time, the disease has affected my family greatly so I want to raise money to support those living with and affected by this horrific disease.
I've previously took part in two memory walks to raise money but after losing both my Nana and Grandma within a 7 month period, I felt I needed to do something more. So, in September I will walk 26 miles at Stonehenge with my mum and dad to hopefully make a difference. I hope that the money I raise will provide funding to many of the amazing services provided by Alzheimer's society, and go towards finding a cure.
Thanks for your support :)
