Story
Some people might say I was extremely unlucky to get cancer not once but twice in the space of a few months. Others might say I am very lucky to have survived against all the odds and have a shot at seeing my two boys grow up😇😇 It all depends on perspective, but no matter what way you look at it, the fact remains that I am still here to tell this tale and that is thanks to the formidable teams of doctors and nurses in Antrim Area Hospital, Laurel House, the Royal Victoria and Belfast City Hospitals - with a little help of course from my amazing family and friends and the power of prayer.🙏🏻Last year I was not well enough to take part in the FROG. My family were devastated as they set out to do the FROG without me, uncertain what the future held for me, my medical team having told them to expect the worst. However, I wasn’t ready to give up the fight and so a long and difficult battle ensued🥊 I continue to fight this battle every day and while I may not be back to my former glory just yet I am thankful to have been given the chance to give this horrible disease a run for it’s money! So this year, God willing, I WILL be taking part in the FROG and I look forward to walking alongside some of you as we face cancer head on. Please donate if you can and help raise funds for these amazing charities that take up the fight against cancer on our behalf every single day. Freddie Mac💪🏻🐸
