Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I initially decided to run the 2012 Bristol Half Marathon with the simple objective of improving on the 6,438th place that I achieved last year.

Of course, I also thought that it would be a good idea if I could raise some money for charity, rather than pound up and down the Portway an hour or so behind Edwin Kipyego, just to fulfill my rather modest athletic ambitions.

Cancer Research UK is my chosen charity again, simply because my brother Dominic died of bowel cancer, as did my friend and Rolls-Royce colleague, Alan Taylor.

If I'm honest, I'm somewhat reluctant to ask for donations again after the tremendous generosity of everyone who sponsored me last year. But if you would like to make a donation, however large or small, then that would be great.

Thank you.
