We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

The Prudential RideLondon Surrey 100 sportive will see 25000 amateur cyclists taking on a challenge like no other. They will follow a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic road races. Starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, out through London to Surrey's stunning country roads and hills before returning to the capital to finish on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.

This year, I'll be entering as part of a team from M&Co to raise money for their corporate charity partner, Cancer Research UK. CRUK fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner as well as providing cancer information to the public.

I've never attempted a cycle of this distance before, the occasional ten mile commute to work being the limit of my achievements. I'll be stepping up my training and distances in preparation for the ride and sharing updates here of my progress.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please share it far and wide to help me reach as many people as possible. Donations can also be made via text with the code 'MCHL78 £5' to 70070 or swap the £5 for £1, £2, £3, £4 or £10 if you prefer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
