Story

In April 2023, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon with my sister Catherine, and my nephew Sam. We are coming from opposite sides of the world to do this (Catherine and Sam from New Zealand and me from Northern Ireland) to raise money for Group B Strep Support who do a fantastic job raising awareness and campaigning to prevent this bacteria causing life-threatening infections in new born babies.  Most of you will know I’m not a natural runner and I’m going to have to work pretty hard to get fit enough to do this, so your sponsorship will really encourage me!!  My own daughter has been left partially sighted as a result of having GBS meningitis when she was 2 weeks old but many don’t survive.  We want to ensure other families don’t have to go through this. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.  You can also find us under our team name GBSS Globetrotters.
