Story
Many members of my immediate and extended family have been diagnosed with PKD. My wife Laura who was diagnosed in 1996, inherited the disease from her mother who battled this disease, and passed away from kidney failure in October 2020, 1 week short of her 88th birthday.
In my extended family at least three of my cousins also have it.
At this time, there is NO CURE , so, by making a donation you can help make an incredible impact in raising awareness and funds for critical PKD research! Your efforts will help strengthen the direct funding of the PKD Foundation of Canada's mission to promote programs of research, advocacy, education, support and awareness in order to discover treatments and THE CURE for PKD and improve my wife’s life, my children's lives, my other family members' lives, and the lives of all those it affects!
You are the ones who make a difference in our lives!
