Those of you who know me and my family will know that this year has been an incredibly sad one as we had to say good bye to our dad Strafford, as he lost his brave fight to lung cancer. His last few weeks were spent in St Richards hospice in Worcester.  The care they gave him and us was amazing and we will never forget their kindness, warmth and professionalism.

Dad was so grateful to them and was desperate to give something back.  He was meant to be coming to Iceland to watch me run the half marathon and when he realised that he'd no longer be able to join us, he asked if I'd run to raise money for st Richards.....and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Any amount that you can give will be very gratefully received and funding st richards will help to give families who are facing cancer everything they need to get through such a heartbreaking time.
