Story
After completing the London to Brighton bike ride last year, i have now decided to cycle from London to Paris! I must be mad but it really is for a great cause.
My aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Cure Parkinson's Trust. This is a charity close to my heart as my Dad has had Parkinson's Disease for the last 9 years and any charity that supports research etc is a great one!
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition and 1 person in 500 has it. People with Parkinson's don't have enough of a chemical called dopamine because some nerve cells in their brain have died.Without dopamine people can find that their movements become slower so it takes longer to do things. There's currently no cure for Parkinson's and we don't yet know why people get the condition so i would like to raise this money to go towards the development of an eventual cure.
I don't have long to raise this money as i have entered rather late (typical!) so anything you can donate would be amazing!
