I'll be running the London Landmarks 2022 Half Marathon on 3^rd April to raise funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, who treated my dad and rushed him to hospital after he sustained life-changing injuries in a cycling collision in Hambleden in July 2021.

The Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the staff in ICU, during the five weeks he spent at the John Radcliffe, ultimately saved his life. He was obviously extremely lucky to have the quick response of the TV Air Ambulance and Ryan and I want to raise money for them so that they are able to save more lives by continuing to respond to people needing urgent critical care, like my dad.

The air ambulance costs £9 million a year to run and raising money for them is so important as they have no funding from the government, meaning they rely on donations. Any donation they receive will ensure that they can keep their doctors and paramedics saving lives.

• £10 could buy a blast dressing to treat amputations and burns.
• £25 could buy a catastrophic arrest tourniquet to stop life-threatening bleeding.
• £50 could buy a thermal blanket to keep a patient warm on the way to the hospital.
• £100 could buy a high-visibility jacket for a paramedic attending a night-time incident.
• £3,750 sends the Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter on each mission.
