I am running this page alongside my fundraiser for Little Princess (www.justgiving.com/francesca-chiorando).

I knew little about Muscular Dystrophy until I met my wonderful friend Stephanie and her family, in particular, her inspirational brother Nick who has Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy.

I got married this year, and as part of that, I beame very involved in my plans and myself, and I decided it was time to give something back to those to don't take things like beautiful dresses and big parties for granted. Those who are an inspiration to us all, who are grateful for everything in their lives. Since I met Nick he has inspired me to be less selfish and to appreciate everything I do and have, and so to him, and his wonderful family, I want to say thank you, and I hope I can help.

My aim is to raise enough money on these two pages, so that when I reach my target, I will be cutting my hair short, and donating it to a charity called Little Princess, who use hair donations to create wigs for young children who have lost their hair through Cancer.

I hope you will all support me, and help to raise lots of money for these two wonderful charities.  I have big targets, so please dig deep and help me!
