I am running in memory of my friend and colleague, Kate Varona and my mum, Jan Fairley. Both were remarkable and inspirational women - with kindness, compassion and a joie de vivre that lives on in our memories. 

Marie Curie supported Kate and Jan when they needed them and I want to pay something back to this amazing charity and their wonderful nurses.
