Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's been quite a journey and I'm still not there yet.  Quick recap:

-2020 marathon cancelled approx 4 weeks before race day due to Covid hitting the world.

-2021 withdrew from marathon less than 1 week before race day because I got Covid.  Boy did that suck.

-2022 third time lucky?!  Just getting to the start line will be progress !

Training 3 times over has been full of ups, downs, heartache, grit, determination, doubt, tears and joy.  None of that compares to what families go through when they experience a stillbirth or neonatal death.  Sadly one of my best friends and her family had to access support from Sands when Phoebe was stillborn.  So I'd like to run in her name and raise money and awareness for Sands, so they can keep researching, learning, educating and supporting those that need it in unimaginably heartbreaking times.

To Phoebe.  Stillborn but still born.

I know many of you have already donated over the course of this journey to ensure Sands have received nearly £2k because of your generosity.  Any additional donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. It's efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for your support.  It is a huge motivator to get round xxxx
