Story
I've struggled with my mental health ever since I can remember. With PTSD, it can be really hard some days.
But ever since Harvey (our cat we adopted through the Blue Cross) came into my life, I have become so much happier and focused. Whenever I am feeling low, I can call upon my furry friend to cheer me up! It's amazing how much of an impact an animal can make on our lives.
When we first brought him home he was an incredibly timid cat, who needed a lot of time and patience. But I think that's why I took to him straight away - we had a lot in common!
Caring for him keeps me grounded, thankful and positive. He's made a massive impact on my mental health recovery.
I am so proud to have reached my £2,000 target! How much more can I raise?! 😁🥰🫶🏼
I'm so proud to be running the #londonmarathon in aid of @the_blue_cross.
