DENS Sponsored Sleepout 2019 · 15 November 2019 ·

Take on the Sleepout Challenge by swapping your cosy bed for a sleeping bag and put yourself in the shoes of those sleeping rough during the cold winter months and throughout the year - www.dens.org.uk/sleepout

Story

.On Friday 15th November 2019, myself, Darren, Jaimee and Daisy will be taking on the Dens Sleepout Challenge by swapping our cosy beds for a sleeping bag to support homeless people in Dacorum and experience rough sleeping for one night.

£20 would pay for all rough sleepers to have the luxury of a hot shower at Dens Day Centre and feel refreshed, rejuvenated and recharged all week.

£30 would pay for a homeless person to sleep at Dens emergency crash pad and feel safe, comfortable and warm when temperatures outside drops below freezing.

£50 would pay for 35 hot lunches at Dens Day Centre to ensure that no rough sleeper goes hungry over the cold winter months and throughout the year.

DENS do so much more than just providing a roof and a bed. They help people in Dacorum who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion; to support and empower them to take the next positive step in their lives. Click here to find out more www.dens.org.uk or better yet, join me!
