I have chosen to raise funds for Guernsey Mind due to the fabulous support they offer to members of the community living with Mental Health. In my profession I see what people go through almost on a daily basis and how it affects their day to day lives, relationships, family life, ability to work and the ability to be themselves. 

I was able to spend a few days with Guernsey Mind at the Lions Mind Centre and saw first hand the support & workshops they offer. I was honoured that two lovely people offered their time to tell me how mental health had changed their lives and what they dealt with on a daily basis.

It is important that we help them to continue their good work and to carry on educating people about the elephant in the room.
