Story

Hi,

My cricket club, Carlton CC, is raising money to build a much needed new practice net facility (costing over £25k) and the players are all running the BUPA Edinburgh 10k on May 2nd to play our part in the effort.

As I am supposed to be relatively athletic (??), myself and some other members of the club have decided to run the race in full cricket kit which includes, cricket whites, batting pads, gloves, thigh pad, inner thigh pad, box, helmet and bat to make it more of a challenge....please see attached photo.

We are a small but thriving club and have over 170 junior and over 70 senior members.  Our current facilities are outdated and no longer fit for purpose so it is essential that we build new nets to allow us to train properly and continue to deliver high standards of coaching to our juniors.  For more information on the fundraising please see the link above.

Please help me to support my club by sponsoring me if you can.

Many thanks, Fraser
