The Plunkett Foundation helped us save the Fox at Loxley and turn it into a Community pub that is more than a pub. We want to raise £300 by walking from the Fox at Loxley to the Illmington Community shop and then onto the Long Marston Community shop and then finally to Bretforton Community shop before walking back to the Fox at Loxley which is a total of around 30 miles!

Plunkett is a UK-wide charity working with communities who are facing the loss of a vital local facility such as pub, shop, farm or bakery. They support communities to enable them to take the dream of community-ownership and turn it in a thriving community business. Community businesses do more than just provide a service - they encompass community spirit; they bring work and training opportunities and they're a hub for social interaction to ensure no-one becomes lost or forgotten.
