St Thomas' Abseil 2021 · 10 September 2021 to 11 September 2021 ·

Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the oldest and well known teaching hospitals. Our areas of specialisation include cancer, cardiovascular services, kidney and urology and dermatology. We are home to Evelina London Children’s Hospital. With your help we can offer medical care that is second to none.

Story

The last 18 months have been some of the most difficult times for so many of us – but across the country we’ve been inspired by the heroes in our NHS working tirelessly, under unimaginable stress, to keep us safe during the pandemic.

As a group of colleagues working at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, we’ve learnt about some of the amazing projects that charitable funding helps make possible – from wellbeing and recharge zones for staff to state-of-the-art treatment for patients at Guy’s Cancer Centre.

As a small way of showing our appreciation for the incredible team at the Trust, we’ve signed-up to abseil 160 feet down St Thomas’ Hospital to raise funds for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity.

Every penny donated will support expert care, life-saving research and specialist training equipment that transforms the lives of patients and NHS staff.
