On the 14th June myself and 23 others will be meeting at DB Gaming Warrington to embark on a 24hr journey matching the world famous Le Mans 24hr race. Each team will consist of 3 drivers to cover all 24hrs of racing. We of course can not join the real race so we will host the event at the DB Gaming Centre 1pm Saturday the 14th June in Warrington.  This will take place across 8 Xbox One systems on a race simulator called Forza Motorsport 5. Do not let that fool you!! Same track, lap after lap, hour after hour with minimum sleep and a bed no where to be seen. This will be hard both mentally and physically so please give all you can to a much needed charity. Kidney disease affects millions of people, currently there are no cures for kidney disease, only life extending treatments such as dialysis or a transplant, for which there's a huge shortage of donor organs. More than 6,000 people, that's around 90% of the total organ waiting list are waiting for a kidney, yet less than 3,000 transplants are carried out each year. 350 people die every year while waiting for a kidney transplant, that's 1 person every day. One of the teams family members have been affected with a rare renal disease called Good Pastures.
