Dearest colleagues, friends & family...

I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to follow the link to my 'Just Giving' page.

I think sometimes it is all too easy to forget or take for granted what our service men and women do for us and our country.  By supporting the charity Rugby for Heroes it means we can give a little bit back and show our appreciation for what every person does and help them and their families to adjust back into civilian life.

Linking this with my biggest passion of all, rugby, I couldn’t think of a better charity to support! 

On Wednesday 25th April I will be taken up 12,000ft in a plane and allowed to drop 7,000ft free fall with the remaining 5,000ft supported with by a parachute! This exciting, but yet nerve racking event will take place at Chatteris Airfield in March, Cambrideshire. Everybody is welcome to join the organising team at the Airfield on the big day to watch the event unfold in front of our very eyes!

All funds raised go to putting soldiers who are suffering from PTSD through courses and supporting them back into our community, through to helping them find a new career.   

The rugby community offers a home and purpose to our returning heroes.  Through rugby teams, coaching and community they are a crutch in a time of transition and a helping hand back into daily life.  The distinctive character, spirit and core values of the military and rugby fit together to create a sense of belonging and make the world an easier place.
