The ForrestBrown team have chosen Jessie May as our charity of the year for 2021, as nominated by Lucy. 

“Jessie May is a hospice at home charity based in Kingswood, supporting families with terminally ill children across the South West. Their nurses visit the homes of the families, rather than families having to travel to hospice centres. They provide respite care, medical support, as well as bereavement support for 5 years following the child’s death. The nurses that work for Jessie May really are superheroes. It’s particularly close to my heart as I was previously a full-time fundraiser for the charity before joining ForrestBrown. They’re a really special charity and like all other charities, have really felt the impact of COVID over the last year”.
