We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

In February 2009 my Nan Lyn died after a brave fight against bowel cancer, my footballing hero Bobby Moore also died from the same illness.

When my Nan died I decided I wanted to do something special in her memory and decided to raise funds and awareness to save other people from dying from the same illness.

Over the years I have completed many charity challenges, organised events, visited schools, businesses and sports stadiums to share my story, I have also appeared on TV multiple times to raise as much awareness and funds as I can.

My story has travelled far and wide and I often receive names of cancer angels from their friends and family members, I complete my challenges in their memory and to date I have honoured over 500 angels, their names feature on my challenge t-shirts.  I have run, walked and cycled over 3000 miles in their memory.

Fundraising is a huge part of my life and something I really enjoy, I have not set a target for my fund raising because I want to raise as much as I can and keep going, my target is a cure.

You can find out lots about me on my website www.fornannyandbobby.co.uk or you can follow me on Twitter www.twitter.com/jonjoheuerman or Facebook
