Story

I'm taking on this year’s Allendale Challenge in memory of our dear friend and colleague Julian Evans, who sadly passed away following a tragic road traffic accident on 7 October 2012  - he was aged just 51 years old.

Julian lived in Risby, near Bury St Edmonds with his wife Linda and step-daughter Lucia and worked with us at sia Abrasives as a Divisional Sales Manager. He worked for sia Abrasives for over 30 years and simply, but aptly put by someone who knew Julian - "he was one of life's good guys".

What's the challenge then?

The Allendale Challenge, a 26 mile trek covering some of the finest peat bogs in the North Peninnes , is considered by many to be one of the toughest challenge walks around. The weather on the event can be as challenging as the terrain which all adds to the fun!

So, please dig deep and donate now to a great charity and in memory of a great guy.

Thank you.
