Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the Great north run this year to raise money for FSID ( The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths ) this charity aims to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy.
In 2012 a friend of mine, Steph lost her beautiful baby girl jessica to SID.
This is Steph's story in her own words-
"On march 3rd 2006, I was lucky enough to give birth to perfect, healthy twin boys, Joshua and Nathan. 6 years later January 27th 2012, I was blessed, and gave birth to beautiful, perfectly healthy twin girls Kimberly and Jessica. 3 days after giving birth we were back home, and the happiest family you would ever meet. My life was perfect.
On the morning of may 5th, our lives changed forever. We woke as normal, to find that Jessica, aged 14 weeks, had passed away through the night. That morning, although a complete blur, is a day my family or I wont ever forget. Our world came crashing down around us. After what seemed like forever, we were told that there was no obvious reasons to Jessies passing, and it was put down to sudden infant death, also known as cot death.
Jessie was a perfectly healthy little girl, who loved nothing more than being cuddled, and lying on her playmat, watching her perfect little face in her mirror above her. She had a smile impossible to forget, that would brighten anybody's day."
Please dig deep and donate now to raise money for FSID and In remembrance of a beautiful little angel, Jessica Lily.
