Story

In 2016 we lost our eldest son to a congenital aggressive ATRT brain tumour at only 4 months old.  Even though he had surgery to remove it at 5 and a half weeks old, the tumour took no prisoners and grew back, very rapidly, to even bigger than before.

I am challenging myself to walk 10,000 steps, or more, every day through February (and beyond) to raise awareness and money for Brain Tumour Research in the hopes that one day, we can find a cure.

When Jacob had his surgery, we donated his tumour to Brain Tumour Research with hope that it may lead to advances in treatment that would save even just one family from the pain that we endure every day.

If you could spare even just a £1, it will all go to a very worthy cause that is very close to my heart.

Jacob will walk with me every single step of the way!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
