Story
As many of you already know, our gorgeous daughter Eleanore (aged 4) was diagnosed with a brain tumour back in January. After two brain surgeries, Eleanore’s tumour is in too much of a dangerous place to fully remove it.
Our surgeon told us that hopefully, with research and funding, one day there will be a cure for this type of tumour which Eleanore has. It will now be our mission to raise as much money as we can for this charity by doing various events to help.
This disease can be hidden in our brains for years with the out us knowing, our lovely friends father- David wasn’t as lucky as Eleanore and unfortunately lost his life to a brain tumour.
In April we will be taking part in the “brainathlon” - we must each climb 2,500 stairs (we plan to do this in one day at the little haven steps - 25 times up!) 15 mile run - which for some of us will be completed in one run - some of us may have to split this and finally a 10 mile walk - this will be completed with Eleanore in tow so maybe done over a few walks to help her make it!
Please sponsor us if you can - this is an amazing cause. Thank you for your support!
