Story
This month is the first anniversary of my Mum's death. On 3rd April I am joining my sister, Claire in running in the London Landmarks Half-Marathon to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation in her memory.
Both my Mum and Dad suffered from heart conditions. Dad suffered from vascular dementia for many years. Mum needed a pacemaker in later life and, in the end, it was heart failure that she died from.
Mum was the kindest of people and was a regular and generous donor to a range of charities. The British Heart Foundation does some great work and has helped reduce the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK by half. There is, of course, more to do and this costs money. If you would like to contribute to the fight against heart disease, I would welcome donations of whatever size you can manage.
Thank you so much
Graham
