Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some
of you may know, last October I mass-emailled a plea for Bone Marrow
donations to help my friend Rebecca Bray (my partner's cousin and best
friend) in her battle against Leukaemia.
Despite a good
response to the session, and the best efforts of Royal Hallamshire
Hospital, unfortunately it was not to be, and on the 31st March this
year, Becci passed away.

On
the 5th September Robin Mangham, Matt Gormley and I will be taking part
in the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run and raising funds for The Anthony Nolan
Trust, which provides lifesaving donors for patients like Becci in need
of a bone marrow
transplant (http://www.anthonynolan.org.uk/about).
So please
dig deep and donate now. Even better than a financial donation would be to sign up to the bone marrow donation register (http://www.anthonynolan.org.uk/donating/howtojointheregister). Over 16,000 children and adults in the UK are currently awaiting a live-saving match. most people that sign up to the register never end up donating as matches are so rare, but you would have the real potential to save lives.
Many many thanks for your time and help.
