Story
On August 1st I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon as a part of Tommy's Charity team.
I will be running in memory of my niece Noemi, who was born sleeping in summer 2009.
August 1st will mark 12 years exactly since we had to say goodbye to her, so on that anniversary I am hoping to honour her memory by raising funds for Tommy's and help them give support to other families who have lost their little ones, as well as preventing many others from experiencing the same.
About Tommy's
Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. They want every parent to have the best possible pregnancy outcomes and to take home happy, healthy babies.
Please donate any little you can to support me to take on the 21kms of the London Landmarks Half Marathon!
To give you an idea of the impact of your donation:
- £10 could buy a thermometer to help doctors at the Tommys miscarriage research centre predict ovulation.
- £100 could pay for a blood pressure monitor at the Tommys miscarriage research centre.
- £350 could fund a Tommy's midwife for a day on our pregnancy line giving specialist pregnancy advice and support.
Thank you so much for your support!
