Story

My fiancé Mark & I are clocking up milage between April and September for the 'Behcet's to the beach' 2021 challenge, in memory of my beautiful, beloved sisters who were both sufferers of Behcet's disease and devastatingly lost their lives to Covid-19 in April 2020 (please see: http://www.justgiving.com/remember/860367/Katy and Emma-Davis ). I am also a Behcet's disease sufferer, so this is a cause truly close to our hearts.

As we both have long term health conditions we will be clocking up our milage via various gentle methods, such as desk cycling and gentle walking, as opposed to running or cycling!

Our goal is to cover the milage from the Behcet's Centre of excellence in London to West Wittering beach (that's 103 miles between us)!

Behcet's UK is an essential charity for sufferers of Behcet's disease, which is a rare and complex systemic auto-inflammatory disorder. The charity has very limited funding, so we would very much appreciate any support you're able to give for this exceptionally worthy cause.
