Thanks so much for taking time to visit my fundraising page, it means so much and will help so many men and their families. Prostate cancer will effect 1 in 8 men, over 47500 men will be diagnosed every year and sadly over 11500 men will die each year. Prostate Cancer UK provides so much vital support for men and funding for much needed research to deliver breakthroughs in screening and treatments. I have a strong personal motivation to support Prostate Cancer UK’s aims and projects having been diagnosed with an aggressive, terminal prostate cancer in March 21. 

I will first be walking locally from sunrise to sunset on July 16th, roughly 16 hours or a minute for each man that dies from prostate cancer every month and hoping to reach 47.5 miles, one for each thousand of the men diagnosed every year.

Then in September I’ll be walking 3 marathons (Prostate Cancer UK’s Football Marches) in 3 days to raise more awareness and vital funding but to also challenge myself. Chris, my wonderful wife, will be a huge support as ever, supporting the logistics on the first 2 and will then also walk the 3rd marathon.
