Story
We lost our wonderful, thoughtful, caring mum last summer. It ripped our hearts out - life can never be the same again.
Diagnosed in late april, mum's cancer proved to be extremely aggressive. Everything the doctors tried had little effect and only 13 weeks later, we found ourselves without our amazing mum.
When we heard Brave the Shave advertised on the radio, we knew we wanted to do this in memory of our mum and raise some much needed funds to help MacMillan Cancer support.
Sadly soon after deciding to do this, our wonderful, supportive gran was told that her cancer had returned after 7 years in remission and that she had received a terminal diagnosis. Our gran has been so positive and wants us to help her enjoy every day.
We are dedicating our Brave the Shave day to both our mum and our gran.
As our mum told us, never be afraid to try new things - follow all your passions.
Thank you for any donation you can spare.
