We're taking part in RBC Race for the Kids on October 12th to raise money for the seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital!! 

As most of you know Ethan has complex medical issues and has been under many teams as GOSH for over two years now they've helped us massively not just improving Ethan's health but as a family. Makayla used to sleep in a hospital chair more than she did her own bed and the hospitals felt like our second home. Ethan's come on leaps and bounds after his care was transferred to GOSH as well as medical teams support teams to help him understand the treatments and things happening to him! 

Makayla is passionate about helping ill children and families and she recently asked for your donations and raised £750 for Great Ormond Street Hospital! She then went on to ask her school to fundraise for GOSH to! We're here again asking for your generosity to help families and seriously ill children.

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive for life-changing treatments. 

Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. Every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world.

Despite the greatest challenges a child can face, the hospital is a place where being sick does not always mean being sad. And it’s a place where you’ll find – today and every day – some of the bravest people you could ever meet.

Last year the race raised just over £700k and this year they're hope to beat that target. The money raised will help fund the hospital’s most urgent needs, which include the essential rebuilding of the hospital, which will see state of the art facilities replace outdated wards. Patients and families will also have more privacy and comfort including a bed for a parent to stay next to their child whilst they are in hospital..
