Story
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Thank you for visiting our just giving page.
Our beloved mother was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma 31/12/20. She successfully underwent her chemotherapy treatment & completed it in August 2021 just before her 60th birthday.
Sadly on Tuesday the 21st December 2021 our mother returned back to her creator. Although she can’t do anything for us, we can still do something for her. For those of you who knew our mother, you’ll know she always had a smile on her face. She went through a lot of hardships in life but she always held her head high.
She was a bubbly character that brought joy to wherever she went. She was always a courteous, kindhearted & a giving character who’s left us with a void.
Our mother loved everyone and everyone loved her, she was a unique soul, amazing mother, wife, sister, aunty and niece & was known to always touch peoples hearts.
The rewards of giving sadaqah during Ramadan are multiplied by 70 and the reward for any righteous act during Laylatul Qadr is equivalent to having performed the same act for over 83 years!
No donation is too small and anything is greatly appreciated. I know my mother would be grateful for this water well that is going to be built in her name. May Allah SWT bless you for your efforts in sha Allah and grant mum jannatul Firdous.
The SituationWater resources in East Africa are incredibly scarce and are not managed correctly in the region. Due to the effects of climate change, such as common droughts and flooding, water sources are either contaminated or dry.Since surface water is often not sufficiently available during periods of drought, the region has a relatively high level of groundwater.
The scarcity and the contamination of water are additionally adding to health problems across the region. Water pollution, lack of sanitation, and poor hygiene is causing an increase in infectious (transferable) and non-infectious (non-transferrable) diseases. How you can help?IDRF, in partnership with local communities in countries like Malawi, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sudan, is addressing these ongoing issues by building water wells. One water well provides water to 400 people in villages and 5000 people in townsFAQ's can be found over at the IDRF WebsitePlease note:90% of all proceeds will go directly to water
