Story
Thousands of people want to experience the fun, magic and inclusion of video games, but their disabilities stop them from joining in.You can help SpecialEffect level the playing field and truly change lives. By sponsoring my GameBlast19 gaming challenge, you'll be helping Gamers' Charity SpecialEffect to find new ways for people with disabilities to play. You'll be funding the expertise, assessments, equipment and lifelong support that will bring joy, self-confidence and a degree of independence into the lives of hundreds of people. If you love games, help us level the gaming playing field for everyone!
Last year, I lost my locks for GameBlast18, and raised a superb total thanks to the very kind and generous donations made by all. This year my fundraising is a little more sedate, but nevertheless I hope to raise a nice total. I will be holding a gaming afternoon at my workplace; baking cakes and gaming with the Gloucestershire Humanists; and streaming for 12 hours on Saturday (12:00-24:00) and 6 hours on Sunday (18:00-24:00). You can watch me give a perfect exposition on how *not* to play video games over at http://www.twitch.tv/fluffybunesq
On Saturday, I will be streaming Everspace, and every time I die I will be putting a pound in to the charity pot. There will also be giveaways on the Saturday stream too! On Sunday, it is more likely to be chill gaming with fellow Digital Rogues or exploring the maps further in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
