Story

I did it! 2.5 years after signing up I completed my first and probably last HALF MARATON all for a fantastic charity!

My mum (Dr Abs) has been a Doctor at this Hospice since 2013 when her and a few other members of the team were looking after children in their own homes they finally opened the first building in 2018 in order to provide respite care in a Hospice but continue to need support and funding.

See below for a bit more information about this amazing charity.

Our supported children (aged 0-19 years) have a range of complex physical, neurological and medical conditions, a significant proportion of whom have physical, mental and/or audio-visual disabilities. There are over 600 children throughout Berkshire alone and a further 670 children from the surrounding counties with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and we are the only charity from Berkshire providing a hospice service in the community.
