There are two things I am extremely passionate about, running and my job as a solicitor representing bereaved families in inquest proceedings. It’s rare these worlds collide but given I’ve decided to take on the challenge of running two marathons in two weeks I felt it warranted  taking the opportunity to fundraise for a charity I believe to be incredibly important, INQUEST. 

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is extremely difficult regardless of the circumstances. Add finding your way in legal proceedings in a Coroner’s Court to your grief and this can be utterly overwhelming. INQUEST are the only specialist charity who support families through this difficult process, providing guidance and doing vital policy work to raise awareness and instigate change around deaths in custody.
