We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones

Story

We would like to extend our thanks to you on behalf of everyone taking part in this year's Monster Bike and Hike. Your generous donations have helped us raise over £12,000 - smashing last year's fundraising total in the process.

We're pleased to report that the entire Fleet Alliance team attained their personal goals in spite of some unseasonably windy weather. Everyone put in an amazing effort, especially commercial director David Blackmore who once again decided to run the event, eventually finishing 14th out of 1,000 participants.

The team gave their all and the whole of Fleet Alliance is proud of their achievements. Your donation will go a long way to helping Maggie's provide invaluable support for anyone in the UK with cancer or family members caring for a loved one affected by the illness.

Thank you. None of this would be possible without your generosity.

Maggie's Monster Bike and Hike is a fantastic event and for such an amazing cause. Fleet Alliance has been participating since 2008 and just we had be a part of it again this year, so we're back - and in greater numbers!

Repeat offenders David BlackmoreIain Boyle and Tracy Flynn take part for the third year in a row and are delighted to be joined once again by 2008 participants Grant Boardman and Martin Brown.

Chris Cooper, Martin Gray, Jill Sidebottom and Lianne Still join the madness for 2010 making up our strongest team to date.

Training is well under way, although the weather certainly hasn't made things any easier. With Mother Nature testing the team's resolve before the event has even started the thought of a few post-event drinks at the bar are providing the drive to cover that extra mile!

Of course we couldn't do it without a dedicated support team. David O'Donnell, Angela Robertson and Paula Wilson have generously volunteered their time and are currently training by staying awake into the small hours, running back and forward fetching stuff, ferrying people from A to B and randomly shouting out words of encouragement to strangers!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, your support is worth the world to us!
