We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

We made it, some 230 odd miles over three days. Thank you for your kind generosity, you have already taken the bores past the £2,000 target.

Here is a quick summary of the three days. On Friday we met the staff and dogs at the Hearing Dogs Kennels outside of York. The dogs and their trainers who gave us a barking send off. Then it was 85 miles through the East and South Yorkshire countryside, into a headwind all day, too Newark.

Saturday took us too Wellingborough and included "Heartbreak Hill" as we climbed onto the Midland plateau. Praful tells us he left his soul there and entered a new dimension! While Iestyn used the old puncture trick for a break.

Sunday and the finish [phew!] at the Southern home of Hearing Dogs where we received a warm welcome which included some proud owners of some Hearing Dogs. Hearing Dogs really showed their appreciation of our efforts and for the fantastic generosity of you all as we pass our £2,000 target. Any of you living in Buckinghamshire please could you do something about the road surfaces, we thought cobbles belonged to a bygone age?

Many thanks again for your brilliant support.

Steve, Praful, Steve, Iestyn, Nigel & Graham
